In the past, it was common to have only a small number of employers in a lifetime and not change jobs unless absolutely necessary. People stayed in jobs where they were not happy, satisfied and often poorly paid. Fortunately, that time was lang.
At the moment, thanks to the record low unemployment rate, employees change jobs more often and are not afraid to leave unsatisfied employers. In the past 6 months, 18% of Czechs have changed jobs.
As age increases, variation is lower
There are several factors in changing jobs, and age is one of them. The older you get, the less you change jobs. Of course, this is also related to the fact that, for example, the willingness of employers to accept employees over the age of 40 is lower than that of employees over the age of 20.
The highest percentage of people changing jobs by age
• Between the ages of 18 and 24-44%,
• 25-34 years – 22 percent.
Then the smallest difference now occurs in female and male variability.
* Women accounted for 19% of those who changed jobs
* I can only have a small percentage, i.e. 18 percent.
Reasons for change
According to the consulting firm Randstad, which conducted many surveys of job satisfaction, satisfaction with employers in the labor market now turns out to be very high. According to the survey, 65% of people are satisfied, of which 16% are very satisfied. Only 8% are dissatisfied and only 1% are very dissatisfied.
Of course, there are many reasons to change jobs. The 3 most common reasonsare:
* Dissatisfaction with employers (26%),
* Get a better job or financial situation (21 percent) and
Personal reasons (21%)
The high satisfaction is certainly due to very low unemployment, but probably due to changes in opinion and more sophistication in employee financial assessment and motivation by employers About 5 in 1 of the respondents interviewed by Randstad are planning to change jobs in the next 6 months.
